Senior Research Scientist, Research Programming
Ms. Green has over twenty years of experience as a SAS programmer and data analyst, with expertise in applying clinical context and project-specific business rules to healthcare data for execution of quality analytics. At PHE, Sarah works on constructing analytic files from raw datasets, including large claims databases, survey data, and other sources, working closely with project teams consisting of health economists, researchers, epidemiologists, and other analytic personnel. Her duties include the creation and maintenance of technical documentation as well as programming code and ensuring that data is in alignment with study protocols. Before coming to PHE, Sarah served as a senior data analyst at SCAN Health Plan, focusing on quality measures in the Medicare population. Prior to that, she worked for many years on executing custom analytics on infusional therapies and supportive care for cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, and other disease conditions with McKesson Specialty Care Solutions. She also has experience with smoking cessation and childhood obesity prevention studies while at the Stanford Prevention Research Center.
